Take Xandros off the MBR

So about a few months ago I tried Xandros. I installed it on top of my Windows partition. Well, a few days ago I decided I didn't want it anymore, so I reimaged the partition with an image I had created earlier. So.... all the Linux files are gone and what not, but whenever I boot up, it still boots to Xandros as the default OS.

So I took a look at my boot.ini file, and it only showed Windows XP. So I'm thinking its in the MBR somewhere.

any ideas?

If you are trying to get back to having the windows boot loader: go here http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d...d_tro_ldau.asp

It is a job for booting up with a DOS floppy and type

fdisk /mbr

If you want to to be snobbish, boot a Win2k or XP installation CD, drop into recovery console and type

fixmbr
