Tag editor doesn't work

I have FC-5 and use KDE.

I'm using the "easytag" program to edit tags of music files. Yesterday I used this program to edit information in a file and it worked fine. Today it won't save the changes I make. It says:

"Can't write tag in file 'song # song title'!"
(success)

I haven't made any big changes. If I log in as root the program works. Does anybody know what's going on?

Thanks,

royeo

Presumably, you are trying to change files that are owned by root (or someone else, not you), or the songs are in a directory you don't have write access to.
