This is somewhat of a newbie question but here goes. How do you get different logs to show up in the log GUI. I'd like to have my CUPS log show up when I open the GUI for the Red Hat 8.0 system logs. How is this done?
It may not be possible, check redhat bugzilla. I think it's written in python though which is a very easy language, so if you want a challenge go ahead and add the feature yourself
Oh that sounds like fun. Yeah I think your right. I've been looking through this Linux book for about 30 minutes and I couldn't find any info on this issue so I posted it here and of course as soon as I post it I find something about it that basically says what you said. Thanks!
