System freezes after ejecting removable media on KDE

Hello, I'm using Slackware64 14.1 with KDE 4.11.5 and I'm experiencing some trouble when removing USB disks through the GUI. Right after I click the eject button on the connected device (on the device notifier tray), the system simply freezes and I have to press the power button until the machine goes down. It is very sporadic, doesn't happen often, but it happens.

This problem has happened on past Slackware versions too, I think in the 14.0. If I manually mount the device as root using konsole, the problem doesn't occur. I don't known if it is a bug on KDE or other software like udisks, but anyway I think that I'm not the only one with this problem.

I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

Is this problem exclusive to the KDE environment? Does this happen if you use `eject` in the shell, or eject using Thunar in XFCE?

How about Thunar in KDE?

Also, are you pressing 'eject' in the Device NOtifier in System Tray, or in the panel of Dolphin?

Thank you for the reply. I didn't tested ejecting media with Thunar on KDE, but I will. I'm ejecting the device cliking on the eject button of Device Notifier system tray. Via CLI it works fine for now, but I'm intrigued why it doesn't on the Desktop.
