System Does Not Support a System Tray

When trying to run Livestation I get this error. I have run this app before on this system with no trouble. I am running Ubuntu on a macbook pro 4,1. Everything is up to date. Anyone else have this trouble or any suggestions? Thanks in Advance. :)

On another thread it was suggested that installing the package called "trayer" solved this problem. trayer is "a lightweight GTK2-based systray for UNIX desktop". Some apps seem to require it. You might give it a try.
