system-config-users issue: program is broken?

Hi, I was updating Python from 2.4 to 2.5 on a RHEL5 machine, and in the process, somehow my Users and Groups GUI broke. I called the program in the terminal, and this is what I got:

[root@raven ~]# system-config-users
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/system-config-users/system-config-users.py", line 25, in <module>
import libuser
ImportError: No module named libuser

In troubleshooting, I discovered that there is a system copy of Python /usr/bin/python as well as the version I updated to (2.5). Is there any way to reinstall or repair the system version, as it seems to not work anymore?

There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:

No module named yum

Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.

It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
2.5.6 (r256:88840, Jan 23 2012, 11:54:20)
[GCC 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-44)]

If you cannot solve this problem yourself, please go to
the yum faq at:

In that case you will have to download the rpm(s) and install it.
