system back-up

I searched the forum but didn't find much of use. I'm looking for a program which can back up my entire system (including different partitions) I finally got my system and software running just the way I like it and could use something like Norton Ghost on Linux (Slackware current). Is there a way to do it and what program is best for linux? I haven't got a dvd-burner (yet) so I'd be making use of cdr.

Regards

You can use amanda. Some even just use tar to backup their system and back it up to tape, etc.
