Synaptic for Slackware...???

Hello, I installed Slackware Linux 9.0, and I m new to Slackware. I have been used Redhat Linux 8. For Redhat Linux we have a software like Synaptic to update or installation of new Linux's packages.. But for Slackware what kind of software we have to do this...????

Slackware uses a tool called pkgtool. The manpage contains instructions for use and references to related manpages. Generally you would just use "installpkg" for installing new packages and "removepkg" to get rid of them. There are a few other tools for upgrading etc as well. You can download slackware packages from www.linuxpackages.net
