Sylpheed Mail

I am using Sylpheed which is a bit of a dinosaur..is there any way of printing up its address book? I have searched the help file but nothing. I have tried highlighting entries but to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi...

Interestingly enough, this is the same question you had asked back in 2012. Frankbell gives you an answer there.

Regards...

xml file

Yes, I remember posting that question. I was hoping an easier route would have emerged 3+ years later. It beats me why printing the data is so elusive. Sorry for the repetition.

JohnnyF, you're not alone. I once asked the same question all over again once more redundantly about three years after the first time . . . .

Hi...

I didn't mean to sound like I was berating you for asking the same question, that's not what I meant. I apologize if it sounded like that.

One other method that might work if you're good with using code is to convert the xml file to csv using this tool (I have no idea how you use it) and then use "calc" (a spreadsheet program in LibreOffice) to open it. The code here might help with that process.

Regards...
