Question Sylpheed - how to place cursor in reply template?

Common preferences -> Compose -> Format.
There is a template for replying but I can't find an option to place cursor before quotes. It's always below them and "Description of symbols" doesn't seem to have an option...

(grin) I *knew* there was a reason I like Sylpheed.

Bottom-quoting is frowned on in the best circles.

Jesting aside, I just tested in my Sylpheed on Windows (the Sylpheed on Linux computer is downstairs and powered down, but I have found them almost identical in their settings and functioning) and, when I click reply for an email, the cursor is positioned at the beginning of the citation line ("On some day, somebody or other wrote etc.")--not a line above, but before the quote.
