I'd like to be able to browse through a graphical file manager, and easily open a terminal window that begins in the directory I'm looking at. And, vice versa, I'd like to be able to easily launch a file manager from a terminal window such that the file manager opens on the terminal window's current directory.
Of file managers, I've only found that xffm (xfce's file manager) has the go to terminal feature. Does anyone know of any others?
For the other direction, obviously, one can type, e.g.,
, but this is one thing I'd prefer to do with the mouse -- I'm already planning to have my hand on the mouse to use the file manager. Does anyone know if any of the terminal programs could be configured to do this?
Thanks.
