switching between gnome and kde
 

Hi, I recently installed mandrake 9.2 and am trying to switch between Gnome and KDE. Im currently running KDE and when I go to the boot window in the mandrake control center and select gnome as my default desktop and restart KDE loads anyway. Any sugestions?

You can do it from the mandrake control center (type mcc at the command prompt)

And I think you must have enabled auto-login.. why dont you try disabling it ???

You can also chose the desktop in the control center !!
