Svn client on shared hosting

My host, http://hostmonster.com/, seems to run Red Hat 3.4.6 and it does give you SSH, and it seems to allow you to do anything not disruptive to the other users and anything that doesn't require root access.

What I want to do is connect to a svn repository and get a clean copy and tarball it automatically every 24 hours. This is not my repository, so I need to get a command line client to checkout.

This is because I deal with a lot of people too stupid or uncaring to understand or use subversion, so I want a nice snapshot of the repository. The people who own the repository don't offer snapshots as far as I know.

What I really need is a way to get the svn data without root. Once I get that I could cobble something together to schedule it.
