Suse apt repository containing firefox

Hey guys been searching high and low hoping to find an apt repository that contains the latest or near latest version of Firefox. Source installation and .rpm installations have been less than successful. Would be grateful if someone could show me an easy home. Thanks.

1.0 pre is avalable thru apt. if you have 9.1 component list http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ap...urces.list.FTP

you should be able to do `apt install mozilla-firefox`

Can't find an rpm on the previously mentioned ftp site for Firefox for SuSE (either 9.1 or 9.0). Any other ideas?

Thanks.

that was a sources list not a ftp site, anyway here's the link
ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt...0-6.7.i586.rpm

you're welcome.

I understand that that was the sources list. I added it to my sources.list file for apt and was unable to retrieve firefox, mozilla-firefox, or mozillafirefox. That's why I was asking as it appears that apt was not happy with what I was trying to retrieve and I wasn't sure that I had the right site for retrieving firefox for SuSE.

Thanks.

Kevin

you might want to 'apt install synaptic', easier to see whats available and what suse named it. the sources list changes alot more often the the deb list, seems to be a new directory every week lately.
