Suse 9.1 sound problem

I think i asked this question before,
anyway, I have a problem.
It seems that I have to restart my sound system everytime I boot up the computer. I came to this conclusion cos everytime I must make changes in both, YaST and Control Center, so that it can ask me if I want to restart the sound system, and after this it works fine.
My question is: How do I make Suse to restart the sound system by itself? this means, during the startup, becouse I`v seen a couple of time it says: Restartin sound system, and after this it worked.
Thnx

In ControlCenter
maybe try instead to set "go inactive" after a short delay [like 15 sec.]
(possibly try "OSS with threads" or ALSA)

then you may not mentioned what I tried to say you

sorry ...
go inactive or something like that for
soundserver (arts)

...

Had once same problem like you .. for me OSS with threads is better working .. (then alsa)
(have a look in control center (as normal user) - sound system ... there is a slider - slide it to the left!)

maybe that makes your problem a thing of yesterday...
