SuSe 9.0 Pro Kernel Source Update
Hello,
Ok a program I installed needed the Kernel Source installed. So I installed it off my CD's. Then I got a update notice that I needed to update it. So I did, it downloaded what it needed and started the install I let it sit for 4-5 hours going through the install, It never moved past 50% But it kept acting like it was doing something. After 5 hours or so I said forget it and just shut it down and re-installed SuSe. Now I needed the Kernel Source again for something and isntalled it, of course I got the same update notifer. Now did I do something wrong the first time I tryed to udpate? Or is it supposed to Take that long for a kernel update? SuSe 9.0 Pro is installed on my Dell 8600 Laptop with the Intel M CPU, is there a certain kernel made specific for this CPU? Where can I get it, if there is. How long should the Kernel update usually take? |
