Suse 8.2


Ok I downloaded Suse Live Eval and burned it to a CD-Rom. The proplem is I don't know how to install it into my machine now. Do I have to use a startup disk and use a command propt?? Please help with any ideas you might have. Thank you.

you can't install it to the hard drive. it runs off the cd. select your cd drive as the first option in your bios and reboot with the cd in the drive

BUt

Can't I somehow copy the information off of the CD onto my hard-drive and boot from it. I want to be able to use my CD-Rom and I can't with the Suse 8.2 in there all the time.

no...for this you need the installer cd's
