Suse 7.3 ventilation

Hello there.

Few days have Suse Linux 7.3 on my Asus L8400 notebook.

Everything kinda works, but i few things botter me?

1. the ventilation spinns up every 2 minutes.

2. when i run 'dmesg' i can see these things
"paride: version 1.06, installed (parpport)
pg: pg version 1.02 No ATAPI device installed
pg0 Autoprobe failed

3. hde: bad special flag: 0x03 (hde is mine ext writer, attached via PCMCIA)

I have no idea whats that about.
Anyone has a clue
