Angry Suse 7.2 Modem PRoblem HP PAvilion n5390

Hey, currently I am trying to get a full installation of my hardware
on my HP Pavilion n5390. It does not recoginze my modem. I have even tried to set it manually but it does not seem to respond back after starting the autodialer.

IS there any drivers out there < i know that it is a 56k modem. but little else and HP does not support linux on this machine.

Help

THanks,

Jayhuse

hp's usually have a lucent winmodem. you can run an lspci -vv as root to get a pci printout of the modem - go to www.linmodems.org to see if your modem is supported or not.
