suse 11.1

I just installed suse 11.1 via network install. detected everything great, some minor issues with x were solved with sax2, my cs4247b sound card woks but causes x to hang same as it did in slackware(if youve got a solution feel free to share it otherwise this is another topic for another day). I was dissapointed to see that networkmanager isnt enabled by default and knetworkmanager didnt start on the first run, also wicd isnt even offered in yast. two most important things at the moment are every time some1 ims me on kopete the msg freezez and is stuck there till i log out, and also is there any way to get kde 4.2.1 instead of 4.1?

It's easy to update KDE 4 in openSUSE 11.1 to the 4.2.x line - see http://en.opensuse.org/KDE4 for details. I highly recommend the update - 4.2.x is a huge step forward from 4.1.3.
