SuSE 10, KDE 3.4: OpenGL apps only work when run as root

Hi,

I have a NVidia FX 2000. I correctly downloaded, installed and configured the NVidia driver for X, and as user root, all works as expected. However, as a normal user, OpenGL apps refuse to display anything.

This looks like some permission problem. What could be wrong?

Patrick

Problem solved. Users have to be added to the group "video" in order to have access to the nvidia devices.
