Suse 10 internet problems and opening files


I have installed suse 10 in the paste few days and the internet
was working so i install new Suse so i could follow the HOWTO on
this website htt://www.geocities.come/epark/linux/grub-w2k-HOWTO.html
now i have no internet, no sound, and when i try to run the
mount -t msdos /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy
I get mount: mount point /mnt/floppy does not exit
also when I run the comand
/etc/grub.conf
I get -bash: /etc/grub.conf: Permission denied

thx any help

Try md /media/floppy
mount -t msdos /dev/fd0 /media/floppy

As root
cd /etc
vi grub.conf (or open in an editor you like)
