Does anybody know why none of the CDs for SuSE 10.2 work? I have downloaded from different sites (including this) and none seem to work? Am I doing something wrong? I download, burn using Disk Utility in my mac, then suse begins to load and finally it stops leaving with only a black screen. Any comments?

Well, first we need to address the basics. If you are getting almost nowhere and just getting a black screen, my bet is that you are using a video card that is not compatible with the distribution or have some other hardware shortcoming. Since you mention using a Mac, if you are installing SUSE on a Mac you need to confirm that you downloaded the PPC version, and that your Mac has the required hardware. If you are installing on a PC, you should post your hardware to help people understand what component may be causing problems. Incidentally, if you are getting part way into the installation before you have problems, you need to describe when that takes place and what you were doing or trying to do at the time the screen went black.
