After installing SUSE 10.2 I reinstalled Windows XP on my system. I lost the ability to boot into Linux. Could you please explain how I can recover the option to boot into Linux. At the moment I only have access to WinXP.

So, when you installed WinXP, Microsoft had no regard to other non-M$ operating systems that were on the computer and basically put a Windows Boot Loader in your MBR that did not recongize the Linux partitions, so you have to reinstall the MBR with a linux one. With SUSE, its easy:

Boot your first intstallation disk and choose installation. Hit next/do whatever that gets you through the installation until you get to "SELECT MODE". Then, choose Other Options -> Repair -> Next. Use Expert Tools. Then click on Install New Boot Loader

Is there any other way to do it. I don't have access to the installation CDs.

thinking about it for two days on and off...it's gonna be hard to get a bootloader installed without Linux
