SuperKaramba Theme Help Requested

This most likely has been asked B4, but i searched and found little. I installed Superkaramba 0.35 from source and it seemed to go ok after i got the needed C++, GCC, etc. The problem i am having is that some themes show up basically as completely translucent boxes. You wouldnt even know they were there unless you knew where to look. They arent black or solid, just completely see-thru. This only happens on certain themes. I can run some just fine, but others do the magic dissapperance trick. Any ideas? Is there some config im missing?
This is on Mandrake 10.1, with an Nvidia card (which is running fine).

Some of the the themes require python as well as python-devel libraries, so try running karamba from the command prompt and load the theme, to see if you've met all the dependencies for it.

Sometimes theme creators have hard links for directories. If they do, it can find images to load correctly, and thus a blank box. You could go to the specific theme's forum on kdelook and post a question for the developer or email them directly.
cheers,

cheers,
I second that. A lot of the "Dock" themes have hardcoded paths to the iconset directory. That's sometimes inevitable as there's no guarantee that the iconsets they use with their themes are present on the user's system.

You can often find the path definition in the theme's "*.theme" or "*.py" file. You may want to look at them and try hand-editing them if possible.

Actually, in my theme, iLaunch, I have some functions that find a users iconset. It seems to work for the most part and has a fall back if it can't find it. The .kde/share/config/kdeglobals has a reference to the current icon theme being used by the user. You can then look for that directory by using KDEDIR or since some distros don't set that, look in common places like /usr/share or /opt/kde3 for example.

I wish all the theme creators were as thorough and as detail-oriented as you are.

Actually I'm sure there is something in PyKDE that could locate it easier than writing your own routines, but I didn't want to include any extra dependencies besides just needing python of course.
