Unhappy Superkaramba: It would be nice, but why....?

Finally I installed Superkaramba on my computer. It took about 3 days till I got all the packages it needed. >:-(
So it's finished. I start it, I load a nice applet and.... Nothing?!

It loaded the applet, I saw it. It's still there after loading, but its fully transparent. I can see the borders of it when is move it on the destop, but nothing else.
Why is that?It seems that superkaramba work, but i can't use any of the applets.I tried many from LiquidWeather++ to Opbar, but nothing.

I'm using SUSE Linux 9.2

Thanx for the help!

yeah mine started doing that recently too. It used to work fine (for about a year with multiple themes)... but seems to have broken with an upgrade at some point.
I don't know what the problem is and I'm not suggesting a bug in recent releases that wasn't there before....
just don't care to look into it. I found (super)karamba pretty but like most 'pretty' utils, it got old 'pretty fast'
