super karamba configure problem

While running the ./configure I was given this error. Im not sure what it means exactly. I have been tinkering with this for over an hour now and was able to fix the rest of the errors I got but this one I dont know what to do with. Here is the error message.

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

Any ideas?

If you are using KDE 3.5, then you do not have to install superkaramba manually. Its been part of the official KDE packages for a while now, so all you need to do is install kdeutils3-extra. As for the error you are getting, you need to install the xorg devel packages.

I have the same problem. I started to install the xorg packages, but it wants to uninstall the x-windows-system. I just want to find out if you did this rswier and if you had any problems. I just reinstalled my system a little while back and don't want to mess it up again.

Thanks.

rswier was using Suse which is unlikely to have the problems you mention because it does not have a package called x-window-system. Since you are running Debian try updating your apt sources before trying to install the xorg devel packages.
