Super gnome window lag


problem- lag when scrolling or moving a window, slow redraw.
fix- applied lower resolution for some reason. Upon reboot, higher resolution was applied again, no lag.

This thread could be helpful to someone in the future, please put the original question and the cure here just incase, even if it was an obvious thing
