suggest a video chat solution

Hi all,
I would like to video chat with my friends. Usually they have a smartphone running android and can install anything.
Which software can do bi-directional video chat on an rpi3 (running raspbian stretch) (with or without x86 emulation of exagear desktop).

At this moment skype does not work (and I think will not work in the near future). Probably pidgin can be used, but I would prefer a [more or less ready-made] solution instead of experimenting (if there was any).

I've heard good things about Discord. The Going Linux podcasters use it for their show.

thanks to all. It looks like zoom is payware and ekiga is abandoned, discord is experimental. I will have time to check them on the weekend.
