Smile subtitles(.sub;.srt) not working in kafeine or totem

I copied divx dlls to usr/lib/win32 and finally managed to watch ripped movies, but there are not subtitles. I don't care for now displaying them correctly, but displaying tham at all. Also there is no sound, and my sound works fine, i managed to play mp3's etc.
