SU'ing Applications Through KDE

Hey all. I was wondering if there was a kde or gnome command that would run an application as root(after typing in the password of course). For instance, I use synaptic very often from fluxbox. I'd like to edit my menu so I can simply click on synaptic, type in my root password, and do my thing.

As of now I have to open a shell, su, and then type snaptic.

I'm sure this is very obvious but I can't seem to find it(google does not like me today)

Ahh, found it!

Code:

kdesu <program>

For Red Hat 9, the packages will integrate with consolehelper. You just need to run it from the menu, and it will prompt you for the password like the red hat config programs do.
