Maybe what you meant to say was that, by opening a thread in public forum, it is inevitable that an opinion will be given. This only true when psychopaths that don't care about their ignorance are on said forum. You're the first one I've met here.
Well, here's another thread headed downhill that the moderators will hopefully do something about.

Seriously, man, there's no reason to start calling people psychopaths or attack them in other ways. Remember the forum rules you agreed to when you subscribed? If you don't get the answer you want, fine. If you don't like the answers you get, that's fine too. If you don't like the people that answer you, that also has to be fine. Remember that this forum is staffed by volunteers.

Unless you are telepathic you don't know what is on the person's mind and what is people's "goal". I still think that calling a library "stupidest piece of..." is strange way to ask for help. Have you read "how to ask questions smart way"?

I've given you several tips about how you can deal with your problem (locate "pango existense test", search for exactly same error message, read docs or downgrade pango), and I'm not interested in the rest. Bye.
Another point of reference. The fact that there are people out there worse than you does not mean you are not one in the same. You're just not as bad as they are. Regardless, attacking a beginner like that is bad enough. I have spent many weeks working on my linux build. I have encountered many problems and gotten through them all. I'm not as good at this stuff as most of the people on this forum, but I'll get there eventually.

Attacking beginners is a choice you made - and one that reveals your goals. No telepathy required. And because of that I'm not willing to use any of your information. I doubt anyone would after spending days fighting with GTK and then being attacked like that. Good riddance.

Let it go, Erv. A couple of deep breaths and move on.

Unfortunately this thread has descended into personal attacks instead of a meaningful discussion, so its closed. I am not blaming anyone in particular for the closure of this thread, but I think the thread title could have been better and the discussion would have been more constructive if personal attacks (or perception of personal attacks) had been avoided.
