strongdc++ and others on linux?
Hi guys, I'm looking for some alternatives for windows softs...
For example, I'd like to know what linux soft could I use insted of strongdc++? Or a video player (bsplayer)?
By the way, in linux, is codec needed for video?
So far... I managed to find ot about GAIM which is really useful...
Please, inlight me!

Google is your friend:
For Video: xine, MPlayer
There's a lot of useful info on codecs on the MPlayer homepage.
