Unhappy Streaming Video

hello everyone...

i am running a pretty standard suse 9.2pro system, and i am running mozilla firefox 1.0.1 as my browser. (im not a fan of konquorer)

how do i let mozilla play in window streaming video (lets say like a music video playing in a myspace profile)

in this particular case, its a .wmv file, now i realize that this may be a major pain to get a windows codec running, so ill just try to get video in general working first

has anyone done this successfully??
how can i do this??

thanks a ton in advance for the help
