streamin video over the web
 

Hi All,

I need suggestions and pointers for something that I would like to do.

I like to have my linux box to serve a web page that contains streaming video that is captured by my web cam that is connected to the same box. So people from over the network using appropriate browser (may be with certain plug ins or something) which can access the web page can see whatever my webcam is capturing.

Is it possible to do this with apache ?

I am rather familiar with Red Hat distro (7.2 and 9) and if possible like to run this setup on top of those distros.

Any help and info would be very much appreciated.
