stream live video from camcorder (usb)

In The Name Of God

I'll be so thankfull if you guide me ;
Stream live video from camcorder is possible by VLC media player (linux),but it needs camcorder driver in /dev.
It is connected via usb port .
Is there any driver ?

when camcorder is connected via usb to import it's hard files ,lsusb shows "Bus 006 Device 006: ID 054c:02cb Sony Corp"

In this mode can it be used as webcam ?

regards dehqan
