Unhappy strange problem with kylix3 C++ !!!

HI

I've installed Kylix3 in debian woody with kde 2.2 without problems, bur when I use the IDE C++ and try to write a '.'
kylix close itself!!! -or it looks so-

So, you can imaginate how I'm, because... the character '.' is veeeery much used in C++.

Sometimes I can write some '.' outer main function, but inside it... with lucky, I can write 1 or 3 before kylix closes.
But it doesn't happend in kylix Delphi, because I was making a lot of tests xD

aaaaaag T___T

some idea? another IDE for C++?

Emacs as IDE ;)

Well, look in your ~.xsession-errors file to
see what causes Kylix to crash ... I don't
know whether kylix writes out any debug-info
on the console ... did you try running it from
a terminal window yet?

Cheers,
Tink

no, I have executed it from KDE not from terminal with startbcb xD

emacs? mmh I only know console emacs, and it is an experiencie that I don't want to repeat... I hate it's meta-controls. But emacs is useful for prolog and lisp. I trust more in borland IDE xDD

I'll see that you said.

thx.

Same problem

I have the same problem, it seems that whenever you invoke the characteristics of an object with "." or "->" the program closes, if anyone found a solution to this porblem could you post it?
