Strange KMail error
Hi,
I unfortunately was overwhelmed by too many problems with my SuSE 8.0 installation, that I re-installed. I am using KDE mail client, KMail. I have it configured as I did before. But now when I try to sedn mail I'm told that the senders domain does not exist. It list my login on my local machine? I made sure that I put my ISP information in for teh mail server, and used my ISP return e-mail address. I made sure with KInternet that I have the proper DNS entered as well. I have my network card enabled (I'm on dialup at the moment) because I want to try to network to a windows machine in the future. Do you need more information? Do you have any ideas of what is happening here? Thanks a lot. Erik |
Would you believe it, I fixed the problem. I click on Creat a new Message ( last tiem I clicked Reply) and I notice I had a pull-down for Identity! I went back into the config and select "Special Transport" and selected my ISP. The mail sent.
