Strange KDE 3.4 Problem
I have a strange KDE 3.4 problem. I didn't have it before upgrading from 3.3. The problem is hard to explain, but I'll do my best.
When you write a text, put the marker at the end and hold down the backspace button, it starts automatically deleting text. If you have a long text, you can navigate through it using the arrow keys. It's faster if you hold them down. If you're on a large webpage, you can scroll down by holding down the arrow keys or page down. If you wanna write a long line of letters like this; aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa the easiest way is to hold down the A button. But after upgrading to 3.4, none of that seems to work for some reason. Holding down the buttons has no effect. The marker just sits there doing nothing. Can someone please help me out? This is a frustrating problem. |
Goto your kde control center.
Goto prepherables Goto Keyboard. Check "Enable Keyboard Repeat" Put delay in about the middle...and rate one notch before the middle. There you go...that will be good. |
Ah thanks :D
