Computer Store Software

Ok, heres the situation:

I will soon be opening a computer store and I would prefferably use linux over windows.

Basically, I am looking for a program that has the following features, or possibly 2 programs

Program 1)

A cash register program

Must be able to:
-> Keeps track of my inventory, prefferably thru a SQL or similar DB
-> Print Receipts
-> Store customers, prefferably thru a SQL or similar DB

Program 2)

Workorder Creation

Must:

-> Creat, store & print work orders
-> Allow editing to be made to work order
-> Track Customers, prefferably thru a SQL or similar DB

Optional:

-> Track technitians who work item

All suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks In Advance.

The two best repositories of Linux software I have found on the net are freshmeat and sourceforge. Also, for RPM-based distros, rpmfind.net and rpm pbone.

Gnucash is a great program much like Quicken. You may find that it will meet your needs. I just use it for budgeting, but it has thousands of features.

Good Luck.
