Stopping NFS locking failed.

I have installed FC4 successfully. When shutting down, there is a error message for NFS as ' Stopping NFS locking failed'. This mean some problems on network file system? How to to fix the error. I followed Stanton Finley's FC4 installation guide to enable or disable some services. Then I go to Destop > System Settings> Server Settings > Services to deselecte "nfslock" again. Then I restart and shut down the system. The error still come up. What is the reason? Anyone can help me out on this? Thanks.

Stopping implies a previous start. Its possible you never started NFS locking so its failing on the shutdown because there's nothing to stop.

Check to see if you are in fact starting NFS locking. If not you can probably disable the attempt to stop locking. If all else fails you can look at /etc/init.d/nfslock to see what it does. This is the script that starts and stops locking.
