step by step installation of my kernel source
a game that i love (enemy territory) uses open gl, so i downloaded the correct driver for my graphics card, exit the desktop environment, attempt to install the driver and it tells me i dont have the the kernel sources installed, that it needas the sources installed for it to work.
so can someone please tell me step by step of getting the correct source and completly installing it? i have mandrake 10.1 community |
ok. here we go....
step 1) install the kernel-source-version.rpm from your mandrake distribution cd's. ;) |
you can also install the source by issuing this command as root:
urpmi kernel-source |
