Talking Step by Step Guide to Installing Debian


Hi! I'm a newbie in using linux and i was able to downlaod the Debian Version...I was wondering if you could give a few tips on how to get started in installing Linux on a system which has Windows 98...how much drive space will I need and will it cost some damage to my file system if I install it on my system...

Have a read of the Installation how-to at http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Instal...WTO/index.html

I imagine that Debian will have documentation on their web site too.
