StartX but KDE doesn't start

Using SuSE Pro 9.3

In Runlevel: 3
I executed command "startx"
but after the X Server started, KDE is no longer automatically start up.
I have to manually call out a "xterm" and type in "startkde".

I would like the system to automatically "startkde" after "startx".
What should I do?

Thank you very much for any kind help!!
