You cannot install AOL in Linux.

And what is up with the old AOL versions? You made another topic about AOL 1.

jpat1023 05-20-2004 11:16 PM

why?

What in the world would make you want to do that?
AOL is the worst internet access possible.
The reason their is a Linux is so we dont have to deal with programs like that.

I actually remember using AOL 3 (I think I still have the disk), man, it was bad.

I feel your pain, AOL does suck though and they hold you on by givving free months. Best bet is to get a Netzero or Juno account, its free and theres a way to hack into the system. On google search for "AIM on dreamcast" click on the first site(it sounds weird but jus do it) on the side it will say internet config. Click on Netzero User setup and input the password and screen name and it encrypts the real screen name and password.Good luck and AOL is stupid!
