Standard Aesthetics

As you know, Linux environments can use several window managers to display graphics. Is there a way to make EVERYTHING look the same? For instance, when I'm using Gnome, GAIM has the environment's standard look and feel, but Kopete has the QT (KDE) look and feel. Can I make Kopete have the same look and feel as GAIM?

You will need a GTK theme that looks the same as your Qt theme, and vice versa. For example, redhat's bludcurve theme does this. You might look into gtk-qt, although I'm not sure how friendly it is to install atm.
