Stale lock file help
***I decided this is prob the wrong place to post this, so im going to post in the newbies section. sorry***
Ok, im brand new to linux, so bear with me. I just mounted my usb ntfs hard drive using: mount /dev/sdb1 /media/josh -o umask=0027, uid=jworrin, gid=usb-drive-access Everything seemed to be working fine, all users in that group could use it and so on, but now when i try to shut down my computer i get a bunch of stale lock file warnings and it says that the umount2 option is invalid, and my computer wont shut down. It just keeps on giving the errors. Any recommendations as to where to look to learn how to fix this?? Thanks a bunch --Joshua |
