ssh X11 forwarding of the kdm logon screen? and how to change port 6000?

hello everyone,
i was wondering if it possible, just as we can connect being to remote pc using
ssh -X and then have any application from that pc appear on our monitor,
if it is possible to get the whole Xsession appear...
smth like X -query <host> :1.0 ?? but through ssh.
while at it i was wondering how can i change the port 6000 to smth else cause it seems they have this port blocked in the university....?

This sounds like S-Terminal
