Squirrmail plugin for password changing by user [why not more resource in internet?]
Hi,
I need a plugin that will enable squirrmail webmail users to change their password.
Previously I have installed "compatibility" & "chang_passwd" plugin but didn't find any option to my webmail interface to change the password or is there required any optional tasks to make it properly working ? I have followed all instruction provided by INSTALL file in this package.
Could you suggest any alternative plugin that will be easy and simple to find the output.
My OS is CentOS 6.5.

If you followed the instruction in the INSTALL file correctly and have enabled the plugin, the link to change the password is located under the "Options" menu.
When I enable the plugin from 'available plugins' then everything goes hidden under the options menu.
My sad I am not finding any solution still, searched over Internet and I have posted same question 3 days ago here.

I see that you're trying to install change_passwd-3.1-1.2.8.tar.gz. From the plugin page, you should install version 4.0-1.2.8 due to security reasons and also you have to use the compatibility plugin-1.3 for the same
Also read the README for file to see how to troubleshoot your problem
Now ok, but not taking the old password, showing error !!!
Searched on the Internet, someone told to change password encryption to MD5, though showing same error.
Did you face same problem ? or any solution pls??

I'm not running Centos, so I didn't have such problems.
Anyway, if you changed the encryption method, then I guess you need to set a new pasword from CLI for your user, so it will be stored in MD5 format in /etc/shadow.
After that you can use the squirrelmail plugin to change it again
