squirrelmail change password plugin not working

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with the squirrelmail. I have a linux server in centos 6.2. After successful installation of squirrelmail (itś working), I've added the plugin ¨change_password¨. The 'change password' option is showing, but if I tried to change my password, an error 'current password' is incorrect keeps on appearing. I tried to google around, but couldn't find a solution for that.

Please help me for a tip where the problem can be. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

If you mean this plugin, then you'll need a poppassd server running, according to the plugin requirements:
Quote:
Version 3.1

[ change_pass-3.1-1.4.0.tar.gz tarball (17482 d/l) Help ]
Requires: SquirrelMail 1.4.0+ and Compatibility 2.0.16+ or SquirrelMail 1.4.20+, poppassd server
Regards

thanks for your reply. It is not the plugin you wrote, it's the plugin for /etc/passwd. But I've found the solution accidentally by googling. It was the default encrypting type of the centos 6.2
